Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Account Manager – Chains to manage and optimize the performance of a portfolio of chain hotel partners. This role focuses on strengthening connectivity, enhancing product competitiveness, and driving strategic commercial growth within a key portfolio of approximately 100 hotels.
You will work closely with chain partners, internal commercial teams, and technical stakeholders to improve integration quality, secure stronger commercial conditions, and ensure best‑in‑class availability and rate competitiveness.
This role requires strong negotiation skills, technical understanding of supplier integrations, and the ability to identify opportunities to optimize both performance and connectivity.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned chain partners to drive improved collaboration and long‑term commercial success.
- Secure and renegotiate commercial conditions to maximize availability, offers, rates, and system‑loaded commercial terms.
- Ensure strong technical performance by auditing integrations, reviewing rate plans, identifying availability gaps, and resolving issues quickly.
- Act as a hard negotiator when needed to protect HBX’s commercial interests and solve problems effectively.
- Monitor dashboards and performance data to identify improvement opportunities and prioritize actions.
- Collaborate closely with Contracting Managers, Connectivity teams, and internal commercial stakeholders to align strategies.
- Drive partners to load offers, improve mapping, correct rate plans, and enhance direct availability.
- Proactively follow up on daily operational or technical issues to ensure seamless performance and high‑quality product delivery.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience working with hotel chains and strong knowledge of chain‑level commercial structures.
- Connectivity expertise, especially around supplier integrations, mapping, availability, and rate plans.
- Hard‑nosed negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and protect revenue.
- Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to audit integrations and troubleshoot system performance.
- Data‑driven mindset with the ability to interpret dashboards and act decisively.
- Strong relationship‑management and communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Fluency in English; French is an advantage.
