Field-Based | Outside Sales | Relationship-Driven Role


We’re hiring a high-energy, relationship-focused sales professional to grow and manage blood drive partnerships across the assigned market.

This is a true outside sales role—you’ll be in the community daily building relationships, securing new accounts, and driving results that directly impact lives.

 What You’ll Do
  • Prospect, develop, and close new blood drive partnerships
  • Build relationships with businesses, schools, churches, and community leaders
  • Manage and grow an existing account base
  • Deliver presentations to secure participation
  • Schedule and coordinate successful blood drives
  • Track outreach and maintain a strong sales pipeline
  • Meet and exceed performance goals

Compensation & Benefits: Beginning base pay: $44,000-$52,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Bonus opportunity up to $7,200 annually based on performance.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:   

  1. Associate’s degree in marketing, public relations or related field, plus
  2. At least two (2) years of sales, business development or other relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the job duties.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; effective interpersonal skills.
  4. Demonstrated skills and experience in public speaking.
  5. Must be self-motivated to schedule and follow-up on meetings with little or no direct supervision.
  6. Ability to use a computer to retrieve or record blood drive information.
  7. Must demonstrate a positive approach toward donors, drive chairpersons, the community, and coworkers, acting in a professional manner at all times.

 

ADDITIONAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBLITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

 

LEVEL II:  All of the above, plus

  1. Helps develop and schedule in open/vacant territories under supervision of Regional Director
  2. Maintains social media account in conjunction with Marketing, Regional Director and other Account Managers
  3. At least six (6) months of experience in blood collection account management
  4. Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve established collection goals
  5. Demonstrates proficiency in blood typing for educational purposes. 
  6. Demonstrates strong ability to develop accounts and project product collections with high accuracy
  7. Proven ability to communicate effectively with donor services team leaders

 

LEVEL III:  All of the above, plus

  1. Helps develop, mentor and coach newer Account Managers under the direction of the Regional Director. 
  2. May plan region’s retail drive scheduling strategy, as directed by the Regional Director 
  3. Demonstrated strong ability to add new accounts
  4. Demonstrated strong understanding of donor eligibility criteria
  5. Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed established collection goals

BILINGUAL:  All of the above, plus

  1. Utilizes bilingual abilities to book and coordinate blood drives in Spanish-speaking communities        
  2. Assists with development of marketing materials for Spanish-speaking donors
  3. Fully bilingual (English/Spanish) verbal and written communication      

PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORKING CONDITIONS / ENVIRONMENT:

  1. Work requires irregular hours, including evenings and weekends.
  2. Requires travel within the community to meetings and events; must have reliable transportation with state minimum insurance coverage, possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable by our commercial auto insurance carrier.
  3. Must possess a Real ID compliant form of identification for access to DoD installations and federal facilities for presentations and coordinating blood drives  
  4. Low risk of exposure to infectious disease from contact with human blood and blood components while at blood drives.
