Account Manager

What you’ll achieveAs the Account Manager, you will responsible for drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. He/She is responsible for identifying new opportunities, developing the healthcare business, creating the strategy jointly with the Sales Manager, controlling your own sales process, managing customer expectations, and negotiating contracts. Cultivating relationships (making, creating and establishing) is essential.

Here’s what you’ll need to succeed:Essential Requirements- Hunter: Identify new opportunities and build relationships with new Healthcare institutions.
- Hunter: Elaborate business proposals, gathering all the information needed to cover the correct scope for each one, commercial scope, technical scope, etc.
- Farmer: Have a close relationship with actual customers, visiting this installed base every 2 weeks.
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs with an emphasis on market development
- Management her/his own funnel to Top Management to have a clear image of the opportunities’ status
- Maintain CRM with clean and updated data in a daily basis.
- Establish active communication and engagement to create new leads and sales openings.
- Manage the entire sales cycle: Invest at least 60%-70% in the field visiting customers and identifying new opportunities.
- Act as single point of contact to assigned customer base for Dedalus’ products & services.
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Negotiation with customers (new sales, upgrades, service contracts) and closure of contracts.
- Explanation and demonstration of the products/solutions, thinking strategically with the customers (requires in depth knowledge of product line and its applications).
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
- Sales contact in hand-over from Sales to Services.
- Assist the Service Manager during proposal & negotiation phase for SMA’s.
Requirements
- Consolidated background with the above responsibilities and activities, and experience within the software & healthcare segment.
- Knowledge of the Healthcare market in Peru and have actual relationship with HC institutions.
- Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills.
- Proven organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated experience adapting to change and managing priorities.
- Strong customer relationship skills in interacting with both internal and external customers.
- Excellent understanding of the technical services business, product launch process and healthcare environment.
- Desirable Fluent English speaking and specialization/MBA and Spanish.
- Hybrid: Invest 60%-70% in the field visiting customers and being at the office at least 2 days per week. (This will be aligned with Sales Manager)

Skills Required
- Proven experience in software and healthcare sales
- Knowledge of the healthcare market in Peru and existing relationships with healthcare institutions
- Ability to identify new opportunities (Hunter) and develop business proposals covering commercial and technical scope
- Maintain and update CRM daily with clean data
- Manage own sales funnel to top management and report opportunity status
- Field-focused selling: invest 60%–70% time visiting customers (hybrid role, office at least 2 days/week)
- Act as single point of contact for assigned customers for products and services
- Negotiate and close contracts, including new sales, upgrades, and service contracts
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring legal and company guideline adherence
- Explain and demonstrate product solutions; deep product-line knowledge and strategic selling skills
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships; visit installed base regularly (every 2 weeks cited)
- Support hand-over from Sales to Services and assist Service Manager during SMA proposal/negotiation phases
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven organizational and time management skills; ability to adapt to change and manage priorities
- Excellent understanding of technical services business, product launch process and healthcare environment
- Fluent English and/or specialization/MBA and Spanish
