We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Victor. This role will be based in Sacramento, California. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The ideal candidate would be an experienced insurance professional who can deliver outstanding service while proactively driving new business growth. The Account Manager will maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients, re-market and place renewals, and actively pursue new opportunities within the California Forest & Logging market. We will count on you to:
Correspond with clients in advance of policy expirations to gather submission data.
Prepare and submit new and renewal submissions to insurance carriers.
Negotiate quotes with carriers.
Prepare and send written proposals to clients.
Handle binding and invoicing to clients for renewals.
Review policies and endorsements for accuracy prior to sending to clients.
Solicit and engage prior and potential Forest & Logging clients in California.
What you need to have:
California P&C insurance producer license (or able to obtain within 90 days of hire) and a minimum of 3 years’ combined experience in agency, brokerage, and/or commercial underwriting.
Strong familiarity with multiple lines of property & casualty coverage and the ability to interpret policy forms and explain insurance terms to clients.
Excellent oral and written communication, proven experience working directly with clients and carriers, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Willingness to travel as needed.
