Job Title: Account Manager, Metals Industry
Location: Beijing or Shanghai
Employment Type: Full-time

The job
The Account Manager is responsible for providing account management services to a defined portfolio of large, high-profile regional accounts within the metals (or non-ferrous metals) industry. The primary goal of this role is to achieve revenue targets and maximize the adoption of AVEVA solutions and services across these accounts. Additionally, the position is expected to transition into a people management role in the near future.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsible for assigned vertical industry sales target & quota

  • Planning and deploying industry development plans, setting up replicable industry business models, and administering account plans

  • Developing and maintaining the partner network in the industry

  • Coordinating and deploying industry marketing activities

  • Understanding customer requirements and providing efficient solutions in a timely manner

  • Understanding company policies and strictly implementing them

  • Working closely with upper-level management to deliver accurate information

  • Maintaining good contract quality and cash return record

Essential requirements

  • At least 5 years of direct sales experience in a relevant domain

  • Good knowledge of the metals (or non-ferrous metals) industry; a major in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or related fields is preferred

  • English reading and writing ability is preferred
