Our Values:
Our values: empowerment, intelligence, inclusivity, innovation, and impact, guide our behaviours as people and shape the way that we operate as a team. As member of the organisation, you will find ways to embody these values in your own role as well as bringing those values to life in how we collectively operate.
About the Role:
This is a great opportunity for an Account Manager who is energised by a dynamic, globally connected role working with a client who is very active in sponsorship and has partnered with some of the biggest properties in the world. Based in London, you will be working on a client based in the GCC.
The client’s sponsorship portfolio spans global properties including Motorsports, Football, Golf and Cricket, and includes some of the world’s most high-profile events. This role will act as the reporting lead across the portfolio, ensuring that activity is tracked, measured and communicated clearly, consistently and strategically to senior stakeholders.
Working closely with the Octagon account team, client’s sponsorship team, rightsholders and internal business units, you will establish robust reporting frameworks, drive consistency in performance tracking and ensure post-event insights are delivered in a timely and impactful manner.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-profile environment, enjoys working with data and storytelling, and is confident managing multiple stakeholders across global markets.
Responsibilities
- Establish reporting requirements, templates and reporting frequency with the client’s sponsorship team, and align with rightsholders on cadence, methodology and how/when results will be shared.
- Create and maintain a calendar of the client’s sponsorship activity, including defined post-event communication timelines.
- Draft snapshot reports following each sponsored event for the Management Team and produce detailed post-event wrap-up tracking reports incorporating inputs from the client, rightsholders and the lead agency.
- Produce a monthly report summarizing all sponsorship activity delivered within the month, including imagery and performance results.
- Work closely with rightsholders to ensure all required metrics are tracked and that post-event reporting is received in a timely manner, supporting any additional internal reporting requests where needed.
- During the FIFA World Cup, draft daily reports summarizing the previous day’s activity and results, alongside a weekly update for the Management Team outlining cumulative performance and delivered activity.
Skills and Experience
- 3-5+ years’ experience within an agency, client or rightsholder environment, ideally within sponsorship reporting, measurement or performance tracking.
- Experience working across multiple global sponsorship properties and managing reporting processes with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into clear, compelling narratives for senior audiences.
- Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills and strong capability in producing visually engaging reports.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple reporting timelines simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills with confidence in liaising with senior client stakeholders and global partners.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work autonomously while remaining collaborative within a wider account team structure.
What’s in it for you?
- A fun, inclusive and high-performance culture
- Hybrid, flexible working environment
- Free access to Headspace to support your overall wellbeing
- Free access to our 24/7 confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
- Opportunity to work as part of our borderless teams, as part of the global Octagon community
