We’re looking for a Relationship Manager (Trading & Market Data) to join our Global Trading and Market Data (GTMD) Commercial Buyside team.

This is a high-impact, client-facing role responsible for driving retention, revenue growth and long-term strategic partnerships with our Buyside clients.

Some of the amazing things you’ll be involved in

  • Building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with a portfolio of Buyside clients

  • Acting as the primary point of contact, ensuring a seamless and high-quality client experience

  • Developing structured relationship management plans with proactive, regular engagement

  • Identifying revenue growth opportunities through increased usage, cross-sell and upsell of Iress solutions

  • Achieving monthly, quarterly and annual KPIs across retention and revenue uplift

  • Leading commercial negotiations and managing ongoing revenue forecasting

  • Partnering with clients to support implementation and adoption of new products, features and upgrades

  • Educating clients on roadmap enhancements and new functionality to maximise value

  • Managing upgrade processes and ensuring smooth transitions

  • Acting as an escalation point for client support matters where required

  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and a live opportunity pipeline at all times

  • Collaborating closely with Product, Professional Services, Support, Marketing and Finance teams to deliver cohesive outcomes

What you will bring

  • Experience within the Financial Markets industry, ideally with exposure to Buyside environments

  • Proven background in Account Management or Relationship Management roles

  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to drive revenue growth

  • Deep understanding of Buyside market practices, operating models and technology requirements

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across multiple levels

  • Strong negotiation and influencing capability

  • Analytical thinking to evaluate client environments, competitor landscapes and growth opportunities

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver against targets

  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams

  • A customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills
