About the role


We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Account Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for leading the day-to-day management and execution of marketing, creative, media, digital and research projects for assigned clients under the direction of a Group Account Director and in collaboration with the respective subject matter experts. As the primary liaison between the client and our internal teams, the Account Manager ensures seamless communication, strategic alignment and exceptional service delivery.

Primary Focus: High-quality project execution in alignment with agency standards, prioritizing strong, lasting client relationships

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and cultivate relationships with assigned daily client contacts
  • Review P&L for assigned client
  • Responsible for coordination and management of all client projects - work with Account Supervisor/Director on the development and documentation of project scope and pricing. Participate in the development and approval of creative briefs. Review all client deliverables for quality and brief adherence. Schedule and manage the flow of work through the Creative and other agency teams, following established workflows and processes
  • Collaborate with account and internal discipline team leads in prioritization of client work and alignment of team resources to work
  • Manage project budgets and process monthly client invoicing
  • Monitor media plans to ensure that space and materials deadlines are met. Coordinate with internal discipline teams for required client input/approvals
  • Provide inputs and assist in the preparation of monthly performance reports and Quarterly Business Reviews with clients
  • Participate in the development of new project proposals or RFP responses
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the organic growth plan, including updates to financial forecast data. 
  • Participate in initiatives intended to strengthen and grow existing relationships through new projects and other action plan items

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in account or project management, preferably in an agency or marketing environment
  • Excellent communication, organization and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail, prioritization and time management 
  • Comfortable working across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced setting
  • Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting and invoicing processes is a plus
