Job Description
The Senior Account Manager will report into the Head of EMEA Supply and will be responsible for managing Strategic Publishers in EMEA markets to drive adoption and revenue performance.
Purpose of Role
The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for the growth of relationships with new and existing Publishers partners with a presence in EMEA.
You will establish and foster relationships at all levels of seniority with our partners via a consultative approach to gain a firm understanding of the Publishers future strategy to produce client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
You will ensure best practices are deployed to maintain and grow complex, revenue-focused partner relationships across our formats of Native, Display, Video, mobile and Emerging channels.
Key Role Accountabilities
- Owns an existing book of business strategy
- Cultivates relationships with publishers, gaining deep insight into their business, and providing solutions to meet their monetization goals – ultimately resulting in growth in publisher revenue
- Manage general and specialized client requests; including set up, billing inquiries, account requests, troubleshooting and feature/product enhancement requests from new and existing clients
- Monitor daily performance through console and dashboard analytics to optimize accounts and build strategies to drive revenue growth across all formats, native, display mobile and video
- Have regular meetings with partners advising best practice solutions and deliver QBR’s to Publishers on a quarterly basis
- Partner with internal cross-functional groups to develop account plans, synthesizing results, leading client analyses and defining the overall approach to Yahoo’s publisher partnerships.
- Shares programmatic trends and insights, product updates and case studies with publishers
- Must have experience in the adtech programmatic industry
- A revenue focused drive and data driven curiosity specifically within a team environment
- Solid technical grasp and Interest in the digital advertising ecosystem; programmatic, RTB, video, mobile, display and native
- Ability to develop strong and lasting strategic partner management relationships with Publishers with a proven record of influencing key decision makers with a consultative approach
- A collaborative Team player with great technical problem solving skills with the ability to drive decisions based on analyzing data for your publishers
- Excellent communicator at all levels with strong technical and presentation skills

- Media and DSP Sr Account Manager
- The Account Management team is a diverse and dynamic team working across a variety of territories throughout the region while leveraging our DSP and Media Ad Platforms. As an Account Manager you will own a set of high value advertiser accounts together with your Sales counterparts. You will be accountable for driving revenue and increasing online market share for Yahoo and to build strong client and agency relationships through excellent service and execution in partnership with the other sales teams.
- You will work independently to identify, prioritize and support your set of advertisers through strategic account set up and operating across the full sales cycle - pre-sale, mid- and post-flight. The primary role is to ensure consistent, timely and accurate delivery of all advertising campaigns booked by the business. Assistance in campaign reporting and analysis are also essential to this role to ensure optimum performance is provided for all advertising campaigns.
- You will work directly with advertisers at all levels of their organization helping to identify opportunities and promote behaviour that grows investment and ensures long-term client success and satisfaction across our ad platforms.

Our Account Management team is currently looking for a talented individual who will serve as a liaison between the sales teams, internal and external partners and agencies.
- What you'll be doing
- - Partnering with your Sales counterparts and internal teams, own a set of our premium high-value advertiser accounts from pre-sales, campaign set-up and management to post-campaign analysis and future opportunity development
- -Serve as primary contact for specified advertising agencies, direct advertisers, and content partners in regard to all operational matters
- -Lead and develop advertiser accounts through up-selling and cross-selling
- -Ensure timely and accurate campaign set-up including receipt of advertising creative from advertising and agencies, coordination of campaign scheduling, and partnering with Finance to recognize revenue
- -Build robust client relationships and develop a deep understanding of their business goals in order to make new suggestions across a range of Yahoo products and features
- -Manage campaigns; execute creative swaps and revisions, monitor campaign status and ensure campaign delivery, and optimize campaign performance
- -Meet individual and Team KPIs to achieve team goals and maintain ‘gold standard’ services across all digital platforms
- -Work closely with sales teams to exceed client expectations and deliver upon requests in an efficient and timely manner
- -Report any campaign/creative delivery issues to your Sales partners
- -Work to Yahoo’s processes, policies and standards set by the business and organise own workload
- -Troubleshoot and work with teams to solve any advertising or associated platform issues reported
- -Ensure all Sales team members are kept updated about the status of their booked campaign
- Who are you?
- -Fluent in English. Fluency in one of the following languages is a plus: German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Danish, Swedish
- -At least 2 years of experience in managing online advertising campaigns
- -Strong background of working with clients in the digital marketing/media industry
- -Proven ability to perform in a fast-paced, highly changing environment and be driven to meet and exceed targets
- -Skilled to manage larger, more demanding and more complex accounts
- -Able to develop strong client relationships as well as building a strong network internally, to drive business more strategically and to effectively communicate with and influence key internal and external partners
- -You have a proven ability to develop and grow new business accounts at own initiative
- -Taking responsibility for special projects outside your core responsibilities and completing complex assignments with direct impact on business
- -Capable to articulate and refine identified challenges, ability to apply independent judgement and develop solutions
- -Ability to drive revenue growth and find opportunities to develop incremental business
- -Prepare and be accountable for quarterly growth plans for strategic accounts
- -Ability to keep attention to detail whilst working under pressure of tight deadlines
- -Must demonstrate ‘Team Player’ spirit at all times
- -Sharing skills and knowledge with the team, taking responsibility for new hires and trainings
- -Passion for customer service and solution-focused orientation towards meeting client needs
