The Role and What You’ll Do:
160over90 is seeking an Account Manager that will be part of a dedicated team responsible for the day-to-day servicing of a client's NBA team and venue partnerships. The position will report to the team's Director and be based in our New York office.
Lead and support the day-to-day management of client's partnership marketing efforts
Strong project management skills and the ability to multitask multiple client requests
Assist in developing and implementing sponsorship strategy and initiatives, including customized programs and promotions
Help manage the sponsorship measurement and return on investment process
Provide and analyze industry trends, research, competitive analysis, and POVs
Develop sponsorship and activation materials. This will include, but not be limited to development of creative elements, client marketing presentations, securing approvals from key stake holders and distribution of materials to clients and partners
Interface and work closely with external agencies and partners, including but not limited to creative and experiential agencies, along with client-internal social, regional and local departments
Attend events and activations and provide on-site support as needed
You Have These:
Bachelor's Degree
A minimum of 4 - 6 years of agency or client-based account management experience (specific disciplines could include sponsorship strategy and marketing, partnership strategy and marketing, event / experiential marketing, influencer marketing or digital marketing)
Experience and understanding of the business of sports, sports media and sports marketing/sponsorship, with NBA interest/experience strongly preferred
Ability to manage the development and implementation of a marketing strategy on behalf of client or company
Ability to manage day-to-day relationships with client and agency(s)
Experience working with internal teams (account/creative) as well as other agency partners
Proactive self-starter
Superior client relationship/service skills
Ability to think strategically and creatively
Ability to problem-solve independently and in groups
Excellent time management, written and oral communication skills
Ability to travel ~10% of the time
Exceptional in MS Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Hiring Rate Minimum:
$75,000 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum salary thresholds)Hiring Rate Maximum:
