We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our Canadian Retention Sales team. This position will be a remote based role and the successful candidate must be based in Calgary, Alberta. Occasional travel is required both locally and internationally.
You will join an incredibly motivated team looking to make sure our products are first and foremost in the hearts and minds of teachers, parents and our ultimate end user – the kids!
What you will be doing…
As a member of our Americas retention Sales team, you will play a key role in partnering with educators to support student outcomes. Our Account Managers are responsible for the renewal and retention of our existing client base through relationship building and improving product usage across our school community. You will also partner with the new business team by introducing additional 3P products and services to your client base.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Managing and growing the existing territory and executing the client retention and growth plan
• Proactively working with existing clients throughout the customer lifecycle, looking at opportunities and driving engagement and usage of our products
• Actively targeting and taking advantage of all renewal and upsell opportunities with the existing client base.
• Developing and maintaining expert level knowledge of our products and services
Ideally you will have:
• Solid understanding and experience within the education sector and/or account management experience achieved ideally within the education or SaaS marketplace
• Experience using a CRM tool such as Salesforce
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ideally you will be:
• Client-centric in everything you do
• Sales focused with a clear understanding of the needs and challenges of teachers and educators in the K-12 sector
• Highly-organized with an ability to pro-actively plan and execute customer outreach
• Effective with primarily a remote sales approach with the ability to support strategic meetings, as necessary
• Committed to shared success and strong customer empathy
