OUR WORK MODEL 

Hybrid: This is a hybrid role, requiring you to work from our Boston office 1 day per week, with flexibility to work remotely on other days. 

YOUR ROLE 

As an Account Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and expanding relationships within a high-growth segment of Cognism’s customer base. You’ll lead monthly renewals while actively uncovering opportunities to drive additional value and deepen engagement. Success in this role requires a proactive, growth-oriented approach to identifying expansion opportunities across your portfolio.

YOUR CHALLENGES & OPPORTUNITIES 

  • Drive Customer Renewals – Manage and execute renewal processes, ensuring customer satisfaction and maximizing retention revenue.
  • Drive Expansion – Proactively uncover and pursue upsell opportunities that align with customer needs.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success – Partner closely with Customer Success Managers to align on customer health, drive retention, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Lead Commercial Negotiations – Confidently run pricing and contract discussions, securing the best commercial outcomes for Cognism and its customers.
  • Deliver Product Demos – Showcase new feature rollouts and tailored solutions to demonstrate the value of Cognism's product suite.
  • Maintain Salesforce Hygiene – Uphold all SFDC hygiene expectations to maintain an accurate, up-to-date pipeline that supports accurate forecasting and team visibility.

OUR EXPECTATIONS 

  • Experience & Industry Knowledge – Minimum of 1 year as an Account Manager or an Account Executive at a B2B SaaS company
  • Sales & Negotiation Expertise – Proven ability to drive revenue growth through renewals and upsells. 
  • New Sales & Hunting Mentality – Demonstrated success in proactively identifying and closing new business opportunities within an existing customer base. 
  • Customer-Centric Approach – Ability to build rapport with customers, understand their challenges, and position Cognism as a valuable solution. 
  • Pipeline Management – Experience in managing a large book of business (c. $1m - $3m) with a disciplined and organized approach to sales processes. 
  • Growth Mindset – Ambitious, results-driven, and continuously seeking ways to improve sales performance. 
  • Collaboration & Teamwork – A team player who works well cross-functionally and contributes to the overall success of the organization. 
  • Resilience & Adaptability – Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving environment, handling multiple priorities effectively. 

 

US Salary Range

$110,000$110,000 USD
