We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of current customers with significant upsell and cross-sell potential. Working closely with Customer Success, Sales, Product, and Marketing teams, you will drive customer growth of Trella Health’s solutions.
Location: Remote - US (Preference to applicants located in GA, TN, SC, NC, FL, TX & PA)
Reports to: Director of Sales
As an Account Manger at Trella, you will focus on:
- Manage and grow a book of business, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities to expand customer account value.
- Farm/source pipeline of current customer account expansion opportunities.
- Manage deals ranging in size and complexity from small upsell orders to strategic CRM/workflow opportunities.
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales and growth quotas through relationship building, consultative selling, and a deep understanding of customer needs.
- Leverage a consultative sales approach to solve customer problems, driving both short-term gains and long-term strategic growth.
- Understand the lifecycle of a customer and identify buying signals for potential growth opportunities by reviewing customer account history, Pendo notifications & reports, usage reports, etc.
- Partner with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) to identify sales ready opportunities and key relationships to build.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless handoffs, onboarding, training, and product implementation, resulting in successful outcomes for the customer.
This job might be a fit for you if you have:
- 5+ years of experience in account management, customer success, and/or sales in Healthcare SaaS or a workflow tool.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding quarterly and annual bookings quota with the ability to manage both long and short cycle deals.
- Proven experience managing a sales cycle and working directly with current customers on strategic opportunities to expand their product suite to solve for their specific business needs and goals.
- Experience with complex sales cycles, including negotiating contract terms with senior decision-makers.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and trust with customers while working alongside Customer Success Managers who own the relationship with the customer.
- Experience working alongside CSMs in a fast-paced SaaS or technology-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead strategic conversations with key decision-makers and C-Suite executives.
- A collaborative team player with a go-getter attitude, ready to tackle challenges and drive success.
- Self-motivated, competitive, and results-oriented with a passion for achieving targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the healthcare or post-acute care industry is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM software, especially Salesforce, is preferred.
- Experience selling software solutions, specifically selling CRM, EHR, or workflow tools, is preferred.
