About the role

TMS Global specialises in the outsourcing of retail display, print, and packaging and is active in 97 markets globally. Our TMS community consists of just over 300 people spread internationally across APAC, LATAM, EMEA, and NA.
We are recruiting for our Belgium client services team to support one of our large multi-national FMCG customers, with some very popular brands, in delivering a managed service for their POS and Display requirements. We are looking for an Account Manager based in Belgium within a commutable distance of Mechelen to be on-site with our client up to 2 days a week, with the remaining days working from home. There will also be some travel required to the Netherlands.
As the Account Manager, you will ensure the client is fully supported and managed whilst delivering exceptional account management through the smooth and efficient execution of all POS / Point of Sale and Display campaigns. You will be providing operational support to the client, being responsible for the service and commercial delivery of jobs and identifying new opportunities to support the growth of their FMCG brands through innovative solutions based on our wide range of POS / Points of Sale and Display products and services.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will be:
- Managing Multi-campaigns/multi-job projects with multiple service elements.
- You will work within Internal TMS systems and technology solutions to ensure proactive management of projects.
- The execution and management of print management strategies.
- Planned, budgeted, and managed the cost of POS and Display campaigns.
- Developing and executing alternative solutions when new briefs or challenges arise.
- Spotting opportunities to strengthen and develop the existing relationship and contract.
About you
This role could be an excellent fit for you if you have a client services background where you have owned and been responsible for establishing strong client relationships. You don’t need to be a technical expert in POS/POSM, but you will need to be familiar with Retail displays or BTL/in-store activations; any additional experience in shopper marketing and consumer insights would be helpful but not essential. Within this role, you will need to provide client leadership and management. Still, the most important skill we are looking for is attentive client communication, which is a critical factor for success within this role.
To qualify for the role, some skills that would be either essential or helpful:
- Working fluency in English and either Dutch or French.
- Exposure or understanding of POS or retail/display marketing and any packaging experience would also be beneficial.
- Previous Client services experience.
