To join the residential team, as an Associate Account Manager (AAM) to join the residential team, focused on energy efficiency opportunities in the home retrofit market. The AAM maintains and develops relationships with local market stakeholders including contractors, distributors, and collaborating organizations.
This position is based in the Central Oregon area (near Bend) and includes occasional travel within a 90-mile radius. Reliable transportation is required. Must be available to occasionally work evenings approximately 6 weekends a year.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
Account Management (80%)
- Proactively develop, manage and expand relationships with contractors and verifiers
- Recruit and onboard new accounts into the residential program
- Regularly engage and collaborate with local community organizations, trade organizations, utility representative(s)
- Develop strategies to encourage participation in program, forecast and drive savings acquisition in a defined territory
- Promote program technical requirements, encouraging high-quality work installations
- Troubleshoot technical problems and issues, provide technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement in accordance with client specifications
- Document all interactions with stakeholders using a CRM tool
- Travel throughout a defined territory to meet with stakeholders
Quality Assurance (10%)
- Conduct Work Quality Verifications on completed technical installations throughout a defined territory and prescribe corrective actions to contractors as needed
- Document all inspections using SiteCapture and Streem Video
Event Staffing (5%)
- Act as a local program and company representative to local market stakeholders and at various events within a defined territory
Ad hoc Responsibilities (5%)
- Manage ad hoc requests (internal and external) and adapt to a evolving scope of work

- 5 years relevant work experience
- Thorough understanding of energy efficiency, building science, sales and technical principles, theories and concepts.
- Ability to present technical and sales information to a variety of audiences
- Strong professional presence with ability to adapt to numerous audience types
