Job Description

This is a remote position. Candidates must live in California to be considered.

CLEAResult is looking for Account Managers to join our Strategic Energy Management (SEM) Business Development team and help us drive growth and build our portfolio of clients in California. In this high-impact role, you will identify, prospect, and qualify new leads and referrals through cold calls, emails, and social channels. Once engaged, you will passionately present energy efficiency program options to potential clients up to the participant agreement stage.

  • Engage with potential clients in the public and private sectors, including businesses, institutions, and trade organizations.
  • Build a robust pipeline of qualified leads, and drive program growth by nurturing relationships and delivering persuasive sales presentations.
  • Be a leader and mentor inside a team environment.
  • Collaborate with strategic partners, such as utilities, contractors, and government agencies, to establish alliances and leverage their networks to expand our reach and drive opportunities.
  • Be a student of the industry, staying up-to-date with industry trends and market demands to inform business development strategies. Utilize market insights to identify new target markets, develop sales strategies, and drive revenue growth in alignment with the CLEAResults' sustainability objectives.
  • Perform event planning, coordination, and presentations of programs at relevant events and tradeshows.
  • Ensure continuous improvement of operations by communicating improvements and critical information to program management to improve recruitment volumes.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly activity reports and track progress toward program recruitment goals.
  • Deliver results on daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPI goals.
  • Travel up to 50% as needed (inside CA).

Exciting candidates will have

  • Over 2 years B2B sales experience
  • Desire to learn about the energy efficiency solution industry.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and work independently under general instructions and supervision.
  • An affinity for data and how it is used to deliver results.
  • Maintain composure and professionalism under high-stress situations
  • Superior attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with energy efficiency programs (preferred)
  • Skilled with CRM database software or any similar tool

Target Compensation:

$100,000+ / annually ($88,000 base + uncapped commission)
