Account Manager

Our Sensors & Actuation Division in Tempe, AZ is looking for an Account Manager to manage key accounts and drive sales growth within a large geographic area. In this role, you will maintain key client relationships, and design strategic account plans to drive revenue growth. This position operates under minimal supervision, offering a dynamic opportunity to significantly impact our sales performance and foster long-term client partnerships.

Location: Tempe, AZ

Salary Range: $86,100 - 100,000 per year plus bonus Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline only, reflecting a position based in Arizona. Your Challenge:

Revenue Growth & Account Management:

  • Maintain Book of Business relative to sales, margin, bookings, and manage pricing and contract negotiation

  • Managing and ensuring LOB delivery status, proactive communication of schedule movement, and drive customer scorecard to best-in-class performance

  • Develop objectives, strategies, and actionable plans to improve both short- and long-term sales performance.

Client Engagement & Presentation

  • Lead business review presentations for key accounts, ensuring alignment with customer needs.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to provide detailed product information and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Executes voice of customer interviews, disseminates and actions customer feedback

  • Maintains open actions and actively gets out in front of potential escalation points

Sales Planning & Performance:

  • Direct sales forecasting activities and establish performance goals for the team.

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and sales data to develop competitive pricing and discount strategies.

Process Improvement:

  • Define, document, and implement continual improvements in the account management processes.

  • Maintain detailed records of customer activity, monitoring internal and external progress and reporting on results.

Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Act as a liaison between sales and other organizational departments to resolve issues, ensure customer requirements are met or exceeded and to streamline processes.

  • Coordinate customer visits and regular business reviews

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • 4-6 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years of account management or a similar customer facing role, preferably in the aerospace industry

  • Familiarity with target markets and customer segments relevant to the company’s products

  • Ability to manage large/complex multi-million dollar key accounts

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines under pressure

  • Flexibility to work variable hours as needed.
