About the Role
Essity is searching for an experienced Account Manager – Personal Care. The Account Manager will be responsible for growing our business with established Canadian retail customers. Develop, negotiate, and implement account plans that meet Essity’s sales and marketing objectives, our joint customer business plans, and strive to advance the customer’s strategic priorities.
This will be a remote position responsible for covering Western Canada. The ideal candidate should live in the Oakville or Vancouver metro.

What You Will Do
Calling on Canadian Drug and Retail Head Offices
Develop strategy for future growth of designated customers through leveraging channel strategies, trade investment funds, product mix, and tailored promotional programs
Lead Joint Business Plan (JBP) process with customers
Leverage Nielsen data and customer POS to develop fact-based selling stories
Negotiate and gain commitment from accounts on programs which maximize value for investment
Ensure committed executions execute effectively and as per customer commitment
Leverage Trade Management Processes to manage and evaluate investment ROI on trade funds allocated to each customer
Work as a business consultant to assist customers to meet their goals and the goals of Essity
Build solid multi-level business relationships with key decision makers and implementers at accounts
Provide monthly and ad hoc business forecasting i.e. Sales & Investments by account by category
Strong communication to keep cross functional team fully apprised on business and customer conversations
Generate knowledge on market development/customer needs, competitor activities, and distribute to internal stakeholders
Participate in and lead trade shows to educate customers
Complete retail store checks for business analysis purposes
Maintain high level of expertise with customer data and vendor portals
Complete required administration for accounts
Who You Are
An experienced Account Manager with 2+ years working with Canadian Retailers
Must have experience calling on Drug and Retail Head Offices
Valid driver’s license and must meet Essity's Corporate Vehicle Policy Standards
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time; international travel required
University degree or equivalent
Strong attention to detail
Ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing environment
Excellent oral and written communication, analytical, and presentation skills
Proficient with MS-Office in the MS-Windows software, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Excellent team player and ability to work cross-functionally
Strategic thought leader with the ability to provide strong data-based insights
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to multi-task under pressure
