We currently have an opening for an Account Manager for our Aviation unit at our office in Vancouver.  

About the Opportunity:

The Account Manager is responsible for developing, nurturing, and maintaining strong client relationships across a diverse public and private sector portfolio. Reporting to the Manager of Regional Sales, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers within your assigned territory. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, generating new business, expanding existing accounts, and delivering professional product demonstrations. Success in this role requires strong commercial instincts, proactive outreach, and an ability to understand client needs while positioning Transoft Solutions’ products effectively.

NOTE: This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to work a minimum of 2 days per week in our Vancouver, Canada office. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Achieve assigned sales and performance targets within the territory and provide accurate forecasts to management.
  • Conduct structured daily sales activities, including prospecting, appointment setting, and proactive outreach.
  • Generate new leads through after-sales follow-ups, cold calling, research, networking, and email outreach; follow up on all inbound enquiries.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including needs analysis, product demonstrations, negotiation, and closing.
  • Maintain accurate prospect and customer records in the CRM; ensure timely renewals for Maintenance and Subscription contracts.
  • Build long-term relationships with existing clients through regular communication and account development activities.
  • Represent Transoft at trade shows, partner events, conferences, and regional meetings.
  • Identify and drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities within your assigned territory.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, Marketing, and other internal teams to support client needs.

 

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales or sales support in the Engineering software sector
  • Strong relationship-building, prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably with MS Dynamics
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Familiarity with Engineering, Design, or CAD environments is an asset
  • Technical aptitude and understanding of design or engineering software are an asset
  • Multilingualism is an asset
  • Sales or technical certifications are an asset

Skills Required
