JOB SUMMARY

The Account Manager is responsible for driving business growth through the delivery of onsite clinical and technical training, virtual remote training, clinical education, and professional services for the Wesper product line. This role demands extensive travel and independence, with a focus on managing client relationships and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality service. The Account Manager will collaborate closely with internal teams and customers to support the successful adoption, integration, and ongoing use of Wesper's products and services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Clinical Training and Field Services:
    • Travel within the designated territory to provide onsite training, installation, and technical support for all Wesper products and services.
    • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, ensuring clear understanding of technical and non-technical information.
    • Manage interactions with users under demanding conditions while maintaining a professional demeanor.
    • Lead group training sessions, delivering content in an engaging and informative manner.
    • Build and maintain strong working relationships with the Regional Sales Manager, providing feedback and updates on account status, customer needs, and product performance.
    • Manage and maintain the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy, tracking key performance metrics, and supporting account management efforts.
    • Conduct regular visits to maintain strong relationships with existing customers and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Identify opportunities for account growth and expansion, driving sales and service opportunities within current customer accounts.
    • Take ownership of resolving advanced technical or clinical issues, collaborating with internal teams to implement solutions.
  • Educational Training and Support:
    • Provide comprehensive educational training to customers on the routine operation of Wesper’s hardware and software products.
    • Deliver training on hardware and software updates to ensure clients can fully utilize the latest system enhancements.
    • Conduct training sessions via telephone or Zoom for internal and external customers, including support outside of normal business hours.
    • Train customers on configuring and editing custom reports tailored to their specific needs.
    • Provide post-onboarding support to Wesper's growing customer base, assisting both technical and non-technical users with solutions for a wide range of technologies.
  • Travel and Logistical Requirements:
    • Travel up to 50% within the designated territory, with occasional national travel.
    • Possess a valid Driver’s License and maintain a dependable vehicle for business-related travel.
    • Attend regional and national industry trade shows.
  • Home Office Requirements:
    • Dedicated home office setup.
    • Located within 30 miles of a major airport to facilitate travel.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • 3+ years of experience in account management, clinical training, or a related role.
  • Strong technical experience with troubleshooting in-lab and home sleep testing (HST) systems.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and operational management tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex clinical and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Well-rounded clinical background with an interest in teaching and training.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively address challenges.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and related tools.

BONUS ITEMS

  • Education: Registered Polysomnography Technologist Certification (RPSGT) in good standing or similar certifications (e.g., RRT or CRT).
  • A 2-year college diploma or a 4-year college degree with equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • Background in healthcare, medical devices, or remote patient monitoring.
  • Sales experience is a plus.
