KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
We are seeking Account Manager to drive growth in the Electronic Materials business in Japan. Account Manager will be responsible for achieving targets/objectives and for engaging all teams for fully functional teams for Growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Achieving sales target and objectives
- Drive to achieve monthly/quarterly/yearly sales & profit target and objectives for growth
- Identify and develop new projects and new customers to grow the Electronic Materials business
- Manage direct accounts and distributors, and develop business plans together with them
- Build strong intimacy with direct accounts, distributors and end-users through regular visits to drive new development
- Plan and implement strategy through insight on markets
- Develop our leading position further through value selling in our accounts and markets
- Regular sales report (Weekly, Monthly, Sales objective meeting & etc)
2. Engage associates for Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work together with technical team and marketing for customer’s request handling and new project development/follow-up
- Work together with supply chain team for sales and supply. Close demand forecast check with customers is also required.
- Strategic Pricing with team manager and pricing team
- Cooperate with regional/global teams for business development and strategy alignment
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in Engineering (e.g. Chemical or Materials Engineering) is preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years experience in sales or technical service. Experience in handling electronic materials or electronic components is preferred.
- Technical Competencies: understanding of electronic materials, applications and industries such as semiconductors, printed circuit boards (PCB), electronic components, and EV/electronics, based on a chemistry/materials background and experience
- Proficiency in CRM, ERP (SAP), and data analytics / visualization (Power BI) tools.
- Soft Skills:
- Proactive self-starter, eager to learn, and dedicated to teamwork with overseas/global colleagues
- Develop & Lead new project & Opp successfully
- Excellent communication skills and persuasive storytelling
- Stakeholder engagement, consultative selling, and technical presentation abilities
