The Flex Flow Account Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and maintaining strong customer relationships across the Permian Basin. This role focuses on managing and expanding existing accounts while identifying and developing new business opportunities for Flex Flow rental, service, and equipment solutions. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their operational needs and delivering value-added pumping and fluid handling solutions.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:- Manage and grow an established customer base within the Permian Basin.
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold calling.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customer personnel including operations, production, engineering, and procurement teams.
- Promote Flex Flow rental equipment, service offerings, maintenance programs, monitoring solutions, and related products.
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and commercial agreements to customers.
- Coordinate with internal operations, engineering, and service teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular customer visits, field calls, and site assessments.
- Monitor market conditions, competitor activity, and customer trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasts, and opportunity pipelines within CRM systems.
- Participate in customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows as required.
- Meet or exceed assigned sales and profitability objectives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or work equivalent.
Relevant business experience & product knowledge (drilling, oil and gas production).
MS Office skills (Excel and Word) and SAP knowledge preferred.
Oral and written communication skills, presentation, marketing and negotiation skills.
Ability to initiate and adapt to change, and work as part of small and large teams.
Experience: 3-5+ years in technical sales or account management, preferably within the pump, rotating equipment, or electrical control industries.
Technical Aptitude: A strong understanding of VFDs, motor controls, and hydraulic systems (H Pumps/Centrifugal).
Communication: Ability to translate complex technical specifications into clear business value for stakeholders at all levels.
Driver: Willingness to travel to client sites for hands-on assessments and meetings.
Must have current, valid driver’s license and acceptable record at all times.
Must be able to physically lift up to 40 lbs.
Strong work ethic and integrity, positive and assertive attitude.
Maintain and enhance good working relationships with customers.
