Duties & Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
- Deliver a high-touch, consultative client experience that reflects Hyphn's values and service standards.
- Understand clients' business objectives, workplace strategies, operational challenges, and technology needs.
- Conduct discovery meetings, needs assessments, and solution development sessions.
- Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
- Generate revenue through relationship development, networking, referrals, industry events, and strategic outreach.
- Maintain and grow a healthy sales pipeline.
- Achieve annual revenue, gross profit, and strategic growth objectives.
- Lead or support responses to RFPs, RFQs, and other procurement opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to introduce additional Hyphn business units and services where appropriate.
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to develop effective workplace technology solutions.
- Assist clients in defining project scope, requirements, budgets, and desired outcomes.
- Support the development of estimates, proposals, and project documentation.
- Align recommended solutions with client goals, technical requirements, schedule constraints, and budget expectations.
- Stay current on workplace technology trends and emerging solutions to provide informed recommendations.
- Ensure all project requirements and expectations are clearly communicated to operational teams.
- Facilitate project handoff and kickoff meetings.
- Maintain active communication with project managers, engineers, and field teams throughout project execution.
- Support successful project delivery by proactively addressing client concerns and coordinating internal resources.
- Advocate for client success while maintaining alignment with project scope, schedule, and business objectives.
- Maintain accurate client, opportunity, and forecasting information within Hyphn's CRM platform.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and pipeline updates.
- Track key account activities, project milestones, and follow-up actions.
- Utilize CRM data to support strategic account planning and business development efforts.
Required
- 5+ years of experience in one or more of the following industries:
- Audio Visual (AV)
- Structured Cabling / Low Voltage
- Security & Access Control
- Systems Integration
- Technology Consulting
- Construction Technology
- Proven experience managing client relationships and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of solution-based sales methodologies.
- Experience developing scopes of work, budgets, quotes, and proposals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record and reliable transportation to travel to customer locations as required.
- Existing relationships within the Portland business and construction communities is strongly preferred.
Preferred
- AVIXA CTS or other relevant industry certifications.
- Experience with D-Tools, Bluebeam, or similar industry software.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems.
- Knowledge of workplace technology project lifecycles, design processes, and construction coordination.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to top management, public groups, and organizations.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, markups, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
