The role, at a glance:
Biamp Systems is a global leader in professional audio-visual electronics for the installed market. We
are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Account Manager to oversee our business growth within
the South Australian and Western Australian regions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales through our established integrator
channels while proactively developing new business opportunities with consultants and end-users
across the AV and IT sectors. As a remote-based representative, you will maintain high levels of
communication with our Brisbane-based leadership and the global headquarters in Beaverton,
Oregon.

How you'll contribute:

  • Manage and grow all aspects of the commercial relationship between Biamp and its network of integrators and dealers across SA and WA

  • Cultivate strong relationships with key end-users and consultants to ensure Biamp is the preferred specification for regional projects

  • Deliver expert technical and sales presentations on the Biamp ecosystem, with a primary focus on the Workplace, Tesira, Devio, and Vocia platforms

  • Provide consistent field observations and customer feedback—both technical and commercial—to the ANZ Sales Director and global product teams

  • Represent Biamp at regional and national trade shows, industry events, and networking functions as required

  • Other duties as assigned

A successful candidate should have:

  • Proven experience in the professional AV market, specifically within sales or pre-sales engineering

  • A solid understanding of basic technical audio/visual principles and computer networking (specifically networked audio/video protocols)

  • Experience navigating the professional AV integrator landscape in Australia, with a track record of building long-term partnerships

  • Ability to give both technical and sales presentations to stakeholders at all levels, from technical staff to C-suite executives

  • Strong self-motivation to allow efficient work in a location remote from the company’s headquarters

  • Good computer skills, including working knowledge of the MS Office suite (including PowerPoint, Teams)

  • Good basic technical audio/visual knowledge

  • Experience selling or designing networked audio and video systems a strong plus

Work Environment:

  • Home Office

  • Up to 50% of travel - The position requires about 50% travel within the area as well as 4-5 trips annually to BIAMP HQ in Brisbane, QLD, plus 1-2 out of area tradeshows annually. Benefits include a competitive salary and commission package and the payment of all travel and office cost. Compensation plan will be explained under another document
