About the Role

We are seeking an Account Manager, Watches. As a key member of the team, you’ll help determine the ideal inventory mix for purchasing, build strategic sourcing relationships, and ultimately execute purchases. This team member will collaborate with our marketing team to determine the contents of our product, position the product, and determine future inventory purchases and product design. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape product mix for our new product category, Watches, define our procurement processes, and play a key role in the company’s expansion effort. Additionally, this role involves direct collaboration with Arena Club management and CEO on a regular basis. 


What You’ll Do

  • Determine ideal watch inventory mix based on consumer sentiments and interests
  • Identify industry points of contact and build relationships with watch manufacturers, and secondary dealers
  • Attend local and national watch shows
  • Develop repeatable processes for steady watch supply acquisition - build the playbook
  • Collaborate with our operations and accounting teams to ensure smooth delivery of watches and on-time payment
  • Track and manage partner performance, serving as primary point of contact to resolve any issues that may emerge
  • Collaborate closely with operations and management teams throughout product launch
  • Represent Arena Club with professionalism, energy, and a relationship-first mindset

Who You Are

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who is able to understand macro-level business goals, build a plan to further those goals, and efficiently execute on said plan. An ideal candidate is able to build relationships and communicate effectively with team members and external partners, displays a high-slope and willingness to learn, and most importantly, and acts with a high degree of integrity. Ultimately, we’re looking for an individual who can grow into increased responsibilities.

In particular, we’re interested in candidates who have experience buying or merchandising, or coming from a consultancy background, with a strong interest in watches and the watch marketplace. 


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Humanities, or a related field.
  • No vertical-specific experience required; eagerness and coachability are essential.
  • Classic business experience across purchasing or merchandising

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working at a secondary market watch dealer.
  • Strong personal interest in luxury watches and microbrands.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a professional, full-time role related to sales, account management, or business development.
  • Highly personable, with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
  • Experience working in luxury retail or related industries.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to track spend, inventory, and deal accuracy without errors.
  • Strong work ethic and comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for shows and partner visits.
