Job Description
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for maintaining and developing customer relationships to achieve sales growth. Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, developing customized sales strategies and ensuring customer satisfaction through continuous customer support. As an Account Manager in software sales, you ideally have knowledge and networks in the public sector or another market.

Typical Responsibilities:
● Actively acquiring new customers and building long-term customer relationships
● Maintenance and management of customer data in the CRM system
● Creation and tracking of offers
● Carrying out market and competition analyses
● Presenting our products and services to customers and at trade fairs/events

Required Skills and Experience:
● Proven experience as a ‘hunter’ creating your own leads and closing sales.
● Able and willing to conduct a fairly high volume of outbound sales calls and emails
● Success-oriented and independent way of working
● Confident with computer systems, specifically MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
● Experience using CRM systems
● Strong communication and negotiation skills, in both German (Native level) and English (Business level).
● Self-starter, who is comfortable working as part of a team.
● Willingness to travel (roughly 30-40%, with company car provided)
