We’re seeking an ambitious Account Manager / Sales Representative – Foot & Ankle to join our Trauma & Extremities Division in the Netherlands. In this role, you’ll drive Stryker’s mission to make healthcare better by promoting and selling our Foot & Ankle portfolio across the Netherlands.

Our portfolio includes innovative solutions such as Total Ankle Replacement and implants for hindfoot and forefoot surgery, designed to improve patient and hospital outcomes. As a leader in Foot & Ankle surgery, Stryker offers comprehensive solutions for individuals with chronic pain.

You will develop strategic approaches to enhance customer service and win new business through your technical expertise. If you’re passionate about healthcare and eager to make an impact in the Foot & Ankle market – this is your opportunity!

This is also a fantastic opportunity for professionals such as OR-nurses, physiotherapists or product specialists with strong business acumen, financial drive, and a customer-oriented mindset to transition and grow into a commercial environment.

What you will do:

  • Manage sales and growth for Stryker’s Foot & Ankle portfolio across the Netherlands (ideally central based in Netherlands).

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with nurses, surgeons, hospital administrations, procurement, and key decision-makers.

  • Acquire new customers and manage existing accounts to ensure loyalty and satisfaction.

  • Provide product training and in-theatre support, including demonstrations and evaluations.

  • Develop, execute and follow up business plans aligned with sales and marketing strategies.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver excellent customer experience.

  • Monitor tenders, prepare quotes, and ensure timely delivery of products.

  • Represent Stryker at trade fairs, congresses, and business meetings to strengthen market presence and to expand your network.

What we are looking for:

Required:

  • Diploma or degree in healthcare, business or in any other relevant areas.

  • 2+ years of professional experience, ideally in medical devices, with direct selling experience.

  • Excellent interpersonal communications and persuasion skills – with proficiency in Dutch & English.

  • Strong relationship-builder with strategic and entrepreneurial mindset; strong commercial and financial acumen.

  • Passionate about medical technology, driven to achieve goals and deliver excellent customer service.

  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.

  • Empathy and commitment to understanding customer needs and contributing to better healthcare.

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory (across the Netherlands) as required.

Preferred:

  • Anatomical knowledge, ideally in orthopedics with a focus on Foot & Ankle.

  • Experience in surgical/hospital environments, medical technology, capital equipment, or healthcare.

  • Previous experience in a multinational organization.

What we offer:

  • We grow talent: You will have the opportunity to develop your career based on your strengths and ambitions – at junior or senior level.

  • Recognition of your performance: At Stryker, outstanding individual and cross-functional team performance is rewarded. Ideas, projects, or other exceptional achievements can be submitted for various awards on a local and global level.

  • Competitive salary: With us, you will receive a competitive salary commensurate with your job. Our comprehensive package also includes a corporate car, pension plan, collective health insurance option, etc.

  • Team spirit & engagement: You will be part of our BeNeLux Trauma & Extremities Sales team. Our international team is energetic, engaged and has a lot of potential. Your opinion counts. We create inclusive teams that encourage colleagues to share their diverse perspectives and opinions.
