We currently have an opportunity for an Account Manager, a client-facing role, office or remotely based. As the client’s main point of contact throughout the lifetime of a project, successful candidates must possess exceptional communication and customer service skills. Applicants must also be able to demonstrate drive, passion, great attention to detail and be comfortable managing a variety of tasks at one time.
As an Account Manager, Patient Centered Solutions (PCS) at ICON, you will manage client relationships, coordinating the development of compelling proposals. you will be dedicated to several key clients and asked to ensure clients' satisfaction by analyzing their needs, offering appropriate solutions and quotes (budgeting, proposal writing, client relationship management, timeline planning) coordinating with internal teams and with external parties.
You will be trained to process a request in autonomy, using standard tools and quality processes and with an appropriate client-facing attitude.
Our Language Services team is part of our Commercialization and Outcomes group with offices based in France, Spain, UK, US and APAC. The team provides the coordination and management of Translation and Linguistic Validation projects for both internal ICON groups and external clients.
To succeed you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, Translation background is preferred.
- Experience in the translation industry and Linguistic Validation, eCOA (electronic translations development) or COA (paper translation development).
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in client services and account management.
- MS Office Suite
- Excellent customer service skills, including ability to communicate clearly with clients and resolve customer issues or complaints,
- Experience in the domain of clinical outcomes assessments and/or knowledge of linguistic validation is a plus,
- Process-driven and strong attention to detail with superior organizational skills
- Strong team player, self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
- Experience in managing multiple, varied tasks simultaneously and independently
- Ensure delivery of finished product at the expected level of quality within the set timelines
- Administrative follow-up of the projects from launch to finalization
- Self-motivated and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
