Job Description

Join Our Team as an Account Manager OEM - Exciting Opportunities Await!

Are you a dynamic and driven individual looking to make a real impact in the world of industrial automation and digitalization, while pursuing sustainability? Rockwell Automation, a global leader in digital transformation and industrial automation, is on the lookout for passionate individuals to join our team as an Account Manager OEM.

As an Account Manager OEM, you will play a pivotal role in selling Rockwell Automation's cutting-edge products and services to existing and new accounts within your designated geographic territory. Your mission is to not only meet but exceed annual sales targets by capitalizing on business opportunities and fostering strong relationships with our valued clients on all management levels.

In this role, based in our Danish Sales office in Copenhagen you will report to the Sales Manager OEM.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop account relationships at C-level, senior management, department leaders and key decision makers.
  • Develop and implement effective account plans for assigned accounts.
  • Lead Rockwell Automation resources to deliver optimal solutions to customers.
  • Drive the execution of the sales process, from identifying opportunities to negotiating and closing orders.
  • Collaborate with multiple sales teams to enhance market reach and ensure comprehensive sales coverage.
  • Handle objections, manage a pipeline of opportunities, and negotiate profitable deals.
  • Consult with teams on pricing, product specifications, warranties, and adaptations to meet customer needs.
  • Spend at least 70% of time in customer-facing activities.
  • Analyze current business levels against allocated sales target and provide monthly, quarterly and yearly sales forecasts to the Sales Manager OEM.
  • Stay up to date on Industry trends, competitors, market drivers and RA offerings.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Minimum of 3 years of outcome-based solutions selling experience.
  • Engineering or commercial (with technical sales experience) background.
  • Experience in a machine builder environment, involved in the delivery of solution-based outcomes.
  • Ability to work with our customers' C-Suite.
  • Language: Native Danish, plus fluent English.
  • Readiness to travel nationally for business, some travels abroad might also be required.
  • Valid driving license.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Degree in Business, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Knowledge of OEM industry.
