Are you passionate about understanding consumer behavior and helping brands grow? As a (Junior) Account Manager at YouGov Shopper, you’ll work closely with FMCG clients to uncover actionable insights that drive smarter decisions. As part of the commercial team, you are located in Breda and you will support a diverse client portfolio, helping translate business questions into research solutions. This role is ideal for someone with experience in trade marketing, brand management, or category management who’s looking to expand their commercial and analytical skillset in a dynamic, data and insights-driven environment.
You Will- Help clients understand shopper behavior, market trends, and category dynamics.
- Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted partner in their decision-making process.
- Assist in identifying growth opportunities by analyzing market and consumer trends .
- Support the development of tailored research proposals that address key business questions for FMCG clients.
- Collaborate with analysts and consultants to turn data into clear, actionable insights.
- Contribute to presentations and reports that influence brand, trade, and category strategies.
- Stay informed about developments in the FMCG industry and apply them to client work.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a client-facing role, ideally within FMCG, retail, or market research.
- Experience of enabling external client engagement leading to revenue generation.
- A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Basic understanding of consumer behavior and marketing principles.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
- Good communication and presentation skills (Dutch and English).
- Familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and analysis.
- Experience in trade marketing, brand management, or category management within an FMCG manufacturer or retailer or have worked in FMCG-related market research.
- Exposure to consumer panels or shopper research.
- Knowledge of the Dutch FMCG landscape and client network.
