Job Title: Account Manager
Reports to: Head of Program Management
Location: London
Key Relationships: Sales team, Marketing team, Product team, Operations team, Data.

About the Program:

The Exports program is a multi-country hub operation, powered by Easyship's technology and platform, that enables enterprise clients to export internationally with speed, compliance, and reliability. The program spans carrier operations, cross-border logistics, customs and trade compliance, and hub-based fulfilment across multiple markets, supporting some of Easyship's most strategically important client relationships.

Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Head of Program Management, the Account Manager – Export Programs will support the delivery of Easyship's most important, strategic client export programs. This is a hands-on role covering the day-to-day coordination that keeps the large, multi-stakeholder export program running smoothly — from stakeholder and client management to carrier operations, trade compliance support, issue resolution, and program expansion.

What you'll do:

Program & Stakeholder Management

Act as a key point of contact for strategic client program stakeholders, supporting the Head of Program Management in day-to-day relationship management. Attend and help run regular client meetings covering program performance, requirements, and roadmap. Discuss and document program requirements relating to international exports, cross-border logistics, carrier requirements, and operational processes.

Carrier & Operational Coordination

Support onboarding and setup for new carriers, new lanes and geographies. Liaise with Pricing, Tech, and Data teams to progress carrier rate changes, lane activations/suspensions, and volume-vs-margin trade-offs. Track and follow up on operational milestones with internal teams.

Compliance & Trade Screening Support

Support client discussions on new compliance requirements (e.g. export control classification, sanctioned countries of origin) and translate them into implementable operational requirements. Coordinate with internal teams, such as Tech and Trade Compliance, on the implementation of new compliance requirements.

Issue Triage & Escalation Management

Monitor and triage day-to-day operational issues (e.g. label failures, missing scan events, inspection misses) and coordinate resolution with hub operations and tech teams. Support the customer service team with escalations, working with internal support teams and client stakeholders. Keep clients informed on issue status, root cause, and resolution timelines.

Reporting & Data Coordination

Prepare and coordinate recurring client reporting. Work with Data and Operations teams to define new reporting requirements and to ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and meets client format requirements.

Program Expansion & New Features

Support scoping and rollout of new features, geographies, and program expansions in consultation with clients. Help evaluate new program opportunities (e.g. new integrations, value-added services) and coordinate input from Tech, Pricing, Operations and Legal as needed.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience in account management or program management within logistics, e-commerce and cross-border trade.
  • Trade & Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of customs and export compliance concepts.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management skills; comfortable working with both external enterprise clients and internal cross-functional teams (Tech, Data, Pricing, Operations).

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident presenting to and engaging with senior client stakeholders.
  • Analytical Aptitude: Comfortable working with data (spreadsheets, dashboards) to track operational metrics and support decision-making.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive problem-solver, able to triage issues and escalate appropriately.
