KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sell enterprise-wide contracts for the AVEVA Industrial software portfolio to the most senior levels within our clients and prospects.
  • Plan and organize all related sales activities starting from prospecting through to closing business in line with the Framework of ONE AVEVA.
  • Successful track record of new business creation, selling complex, high value business software and product agreements.
  • Meet and exceed revenue and order targets supporting the sub-regional business.
  • Generating sales and performing software presentations thus ensure targets are achieved, such target information will be communicated to you from time to time based on company’s Business Requirements.
  • Prepare, maintain, and execute comprehensive Account Plans on top accounts, which outlines your strategic and tactical approaches for achieving your targets, including delivering Customer Success Plans with the CSM team.
  • Work with line manager to define, launch and drive strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Ensure the data quality in Salesforce is well maintained and opportunities, and all other client base records are up to date as well as accurate forecast.
  • Assist customers with their enquiries, orders details and chasing pending payments.
  • Travel regularly to promote AVEVA products and services.
  • Be able to function effectively as a member of a team, have excellent communication skills, and develop good working relationships within AVEVA group.
  • Experience selling into the EPC, Chemical and O&G Industry would be an advantage.
  • Must be self-motivated whilst being a team player.
  • Should be flexible, passionate, action-oriented, hardworking and target driven.

Ideal Experience

  • 8+ years experience in a sales, (key) account management, with direct selling enterprise software solutions serving industries
  • Experience in structuring and executing demand generation on your account territory, including cold calling by themselves’, and generating new leads from pure new client or new business unit in existing clients.
  • Experience in having business-oriented conversations from end user to senior decision makers within our target customer base and aligning their business problems with our technology solutions.
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills to help identify market trends and opportunities and driving business in your territory.
  • Understanding of sales qualification methodology (MEDDPICC) and building out territory / account plans
  • You will be personable, a strong team player and be able to conduct challenging business and commercial conversations with customers in a positive manner.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Bilingual in Italian and English is required.
