Role Overview:
At Huntsman we are looking for a sales professional with strong PU expertise who can lead accounts across the DACH region and wider Europe. As our Account Manager for Insulation Systems Polyurethanes, you will bring commercial sharpness, technical curiosity, and confidence in managing insulation and composite panel customers.
Our modern system house is located in Georgsmarienhütte, Germany. However, the position itself can be performed in a hybrid or fully remote setup, ideally from anywhere within Germany.

Role Responsibilities:
As an Account Manager Insulation Systems Polyurethanes, you will:
Manage sales and customer relationships for Insulation Systems across Mid‑Europe, Benelux, and the UK, including direct ownership of some key accounts.
Develop and execute Segment Strategy and Key Account Plans to achieve sales, margin, and growth targets.
Coordinate customer needs with Technical Service, Innovation, Marketing, and internal sales functions to deliver technical and commercial solutions.
Provide accurate market intelligence, forecasts, and business insights to support strategic decisions.
Establish and manage commercial contracts, monitor profitability, and ensure commercial excellence.
Represent Huntsman within the insulation market, maintaining industry relationships and staying engaged with market trends.
Ensure compliance with EH&S, Ethics, and Competition Law while implementing EH&S improvement plans.
Experience and Competencies:
What we are looking for:
Solid experience in chemical sales.
Strong polyurethane (PU) technical understanding and ability to interpret customer needs in insulation and composite panel applications is an additional asset.
Proven experience managing key accounts and international customers across the DACH region and wider European markets.
Excellent commercial, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and work across cultures.
Strong strategic thinking, value‑selling capability, and the ability to work independently with limited training.
Fluency in German and English.
Willingness to travel approx. 40% across Europe.
