About the Role

Account Management at Uber Eats means navigating ambiguity, earning trust fast, and solving problems that don’t come with a script. In this role, you will own the growth, retention, and success of a portfolio of SMB restaurant partners across Texas, serving as their primary advisor to unlock the full potential of the Uber Eats platform. It is a high-stakes environment where your ability to build long-term, bilingual (Spanish/English) partnerships directly impacts the livelihood of local businesses, powers local commerce, and advances Uber’s mission to move the real world.

The work is fast-paced and demands a grit-based mindset. You will deal with shifting market dynamics, handle tough commercial negotiations, and build lasting partnerships in a hyper-local, competitive environment. We are looking for resourceful owners who stay resilient through the inevitable "no" to find creative solutions for our restaurant partners. If you thrive on autonomy, adapt quickly through constant change, and are energized by seeing the tangible impact of your work on local communities, this is where you will grow.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and grow long-term partnerships by deeply understanding what matters most to your restaurant partners, prioritizing sustainable merchant growth and trust over short-term wins.
  • Manage and optimize portfolios with urgency and discipline, analyzing account data to track KPIs, identify growth opportunities, and execute territory operational plans.
  • Navigate ambiguity and operational complexity to resolve merchant friction, unblock growth barriers, and maintain high levels of partner satisfaction across your Texas accounts.
  • Adapt your approach based on hyper-local market dynamics and partner needs to drive adoption of new platform features, sponsored listings, and marketing products.
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams including operations, marketing, and product to share ground-level market intelligence and help shape regional strategies that scale.
  • Communicate clearly and negotiate confidently in both Spanish and English, working through client objections, pricing pushback, and tough commercial conversations to deliver mutual economic value.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and pipeline tracking (Salesforce), accurately recording partner interactions, health indicators, and adoption pipelines.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of professional experience in account management, sales, operations, or customer-facing commercial roles.
  • Professional fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal) to effectively advise local restaurant partners and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate high-ambiguity environments and pivot quickly based on shifting business priorities.
  • Proven track record of negotiating with external partners, handling client objections, and closing agreements.
  • Experience building and leveraging data-driven insights for portfolio management and account lifecycle planning.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Salesforce (SFDC) and Google Sheets / Excel for data-driven decision making and pipeline tracking.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to identify and resolve operational gaps in merchant workflows.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Background in food/beverage, hospitality, marketplace technology, or high-growth tech environments.
