About the Role


As an Account Manager in our Electrophysiology (EP) business, your core objective is to drive the success of the EP portfolio within your designated territory in Norway. You will play a pivotal role in executing strategic initiatives, managing key accounts, and identifying growth opportunities to expand market share. The role includes commercial responsibility as well as clinical support of PFA cases (approx. 20%)
The role is a part of the Nordic EP team and reports to Sales Manager/SM EP for Norway. 

 

Location: Remote, field-based in Norway. Candidates should ideally be based in or around Oslo, Bergen or Trondheim, to ensure strong coverage of the Norwegian territory.

 

 

In this role, you will be responsible for:

 

Account Management

 

  • Lead with a strong commercial focus to drive competitive account conversions and increase market share within the geography.
  • Execute regional and local sales strategies aligned with broader business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both clinical and non-clinical stakeholders in your accounts, in collaboration with Field Clinical Specialists (FCS), Strategic Account Managers (SAM) and Sales Manager.

 

Opportunity Identification & Sales Execution

 

  • Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities within your territory, leveraging cross-functional support when necessary.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, including account planning, pricing strategies, contract- and tender processes.
  • Work closely with FCS and SM to develop and implement tailored Account Action Plans—covering both commercial and clinical perspectives.
  • Maximize stakeholder engagement opportunities, including support in the operating room as needed.

 

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in medical device, with mandatory knowledge of Cardiac Rhythm Management/Electrophysiology products and/or clinical support.
  • Experience supporting procedures in the operating room is highly valued.
  • Proven knowledge of local healthcare markets and customer landscape.
  • Background in Rhythm Management devices and procedures preferred.
  • Skilled in preparing tenders and engaging with purchasing departments and hospital decision-makers.
  • Strong business acumen, with experience in planning and executing sales strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in Norwegian and English language.
  • Solution oriented attitude, high motivation, and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel within the region and nationally when required.
