Account Manager – Enterprise Solutions
Position Overview
The Account Manager supports key enterprise client relationships across multiple projects, markets and STO Building Group Business Units.
The role provides account-level oversight of client experience and project performance while developing client relationships and understanding the client's organization, priorities, portfolio and future needs.
Working with the Account Director, Senior Account Director, and Alliance Partners / Business Unit leadership, the Account Manager helps execute account strategy, identify risks and opportunities, and connect client needs with STO Building Group capabilities.
The Account Manager does not replace Business Unit or project leadership or own day-to-day project execution.
Key Responsibilities
Account Oversight & Client Experience
- Maintain an account-level understanding of project performance, client satisfaction, significant risks and commitments.
- Identify trends or issues requiring account-level attention and escalate significant concerns appropriately.
- Help drive a consistent client experience across projects, markets and Business Units.
Client Relationships & Intelligence
- Develop relationships with key client stakeholders and decision makers.
- Understand the client's organization, priorities, portfolio and future needs.
- Maintain account dashboards / client intelligence and share relevant insights with the account team.
Strategy & Growth
- Support the Account Director or Senior Account Manager in executing account strategy and priorities.
- Identify opportunities to expand relationships, services, geographies and Business Unit participation.
- Connect client needs with STO Building Group capabilities and resources.
- Participate in strategic client meetings and account reviews.
Account Management
- Maintain accurate account, relationship and opportunity information in Salesforce.
- Maintain the Account Playbook and other account-management tools.
- Coordinate account-level actions and ensure clear ownership and follow-through.
- Lead completed project after action review process and new project onboarding.
- Closely monitor account financials and escalate issues accordingly.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant construction, A/E/C, real estate or client-management experience.
- Strong understanding of construction and the project lifecycle.
- Strong client relationship, communication and business skills.
- Ability to work effectively across Business Units and geographies without direct authority.
- Organized, accountable and consistent in follow-through.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Compensation
Eligible for discretionary bonus in addition to base compensation based on company and individual performance.
Salary: $140,000 - $175,000
