Job Description

Rockwell Automation is hiring!

We are looking for an Account Manager, End User to join us in our Perth, Western Australia office.

Reporting to the Sales Territory Manager, Western Austrlia, you will meet allocated sales target through growing existing business / developing new business for all RA products / services / solutions portfolio through a disciplined planning and sales execution process.  You establish relationships at assigned accounts including Users, OEMs, and Integrators, while engaging with distributors to ensure efficient use of resources.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a collaborative relationship with the RA Distributor/s and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop account plans for assigned account packages which includes systems integrators, end-users, OEMs, EPCs.
  • Spend at least 70% of time visiting customers to support account plans.
  • Adopt our disciplined approach to managing sales opportunities and front-log using available sales tools.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through contacts / visits. Facilitate resolution of customer issues.
  • Analyse current business levels against allocated sales target and provide monthly, quarterly and yearly sales forecasts.
  • Stay current on Industry trends, competitors, market drivers and RA offerings.
  • Ensure familiarity with company policies. Apply policies in compliance with government laws. Policies includes Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations (e.g. health, safety, quality and environmental), and functional policies published on the Rockwell Automation Information Network. Ensure compliance to Ethics, Standards of Business Conduct, other RA policies and the relevant government regulations in the geography.
  • Perform any other relevant responsibilities as and when assigned by Manager.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

  • Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
  • More than 3 years selling experience in the industry
  • Experience selling in Mining Industry
  • Local travel within WA

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

  • Experience in Channel Management and Distribution
  • Exposure in industrial automation products such as DCS, PLC
