The Account Manager - Emerging Accounts (AM) is responsible for supporting and growing revenue within an assigned geographic area. They will focus primarily on generating growth opportunities with both newer and existing partners to achieve revenue goals established for all product lines. The AM will work collaboratively with the ed2go Business Development, Workforce, and Marketing teams (and other internal partners as needed), as well as build successful working relationships with external partners. The AM must be coachable with an ability to understand business needs and provide viable solutions to reach targeted goals.

What You Will Do Here:

  • Provide daily partner support, responding to existing partner requests and inquiries pertaining to programs, products, & account development.
  • Update Salesforce database to ensure accurate account information, reporting and revenue forecasting.
  • Prospect previously engaged partners to reinvigorate growth opportunities in target markets across the United States.
  • Develop an account management plan for assigned accounts, to drive interactions / frequency of contact with key partners.
  • Review account management plan periodically with department leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal team members to implement Marketing and engagement opportunities with partners.
  • Target and exceed sales revenue goals and management objectives for the Academic sales channel.
  • Build and deliver customized partner trainings for both partner and student-facing websites
  • Develop and share tools, processes and procedures, and run Teams meetings with partners and Sales team.
  • Connect with other functional departments and teams to optimally resolve partner needs.
  • Lead projects and initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity for the role and larger organization.
  • Occasional domestic travel may be required.

Skills You Will Need Here:

(Required)

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of two (2) years in an inside sales or account management role, with proven success achieving revenue goals.
  • Excellent social skills and ability to lead multiple projects with multiple due dates simultaneously.
  • Self-starter, phenomenal teammate, critical problem solver, can do demeanor.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Proficient digital literacy- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce and PowerBI

Preferred

  • Experience in Professional, Continuing, or Online Education
  • Prior experience in B2B sales/marketing is a plus.

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.

$46,400.00 - $74,200.00 USD
