As a Field Sales Account Manager for Agilent’s Chromatography and Spectroscopy Chemistries and Supplies (CSD) portfolio, you will be responsible for driving consumables sales to end-user customers across your assigned territory, covering Georgia and Alabama.
In this role, you will manage a diverse portfolio of accounts and serve as a trusted advisor to customers by providing consultative, workflow-based solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive support across customer environments, including pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, life sciences research, materials science, environmental, and forensic applications.
As a customer-focused sales professional, you will play a critical role in supporting laboratory workflows, fostering customer success, and identifying opportunities to expand Agilent’s presence in the region.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales of Agilent’s Chemistries and Supplies (CSD) portfolio to end-user customers across Georgia and Alabama.
- Manage key accounts including CDC, FDA, state and forensic laboratories, small biopharma, and environmental and petroleum customers across the Gulf Coast region and Georgia.
- Represent Agilent to customers and act as the voice of the customer internally.
- Develop and execute territory and account plans to generate new business and grow existing accounts.
- Promote products and solutions to both existing and prospective customers, including new product introductions.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide integrated, workflow-based solutions.
- Create, monitor, and adjust lead generation and pipeline development strategies.
- Support and drive customer adoption of Agilent’s digital and online ordering platforms, where applicable
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1–2+ years of relevant account management experience.
- At least 1 year of proven sales experience is required.
- Hands-on experience with chromatography techniques, including HPLC and/or UHPLC, is strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of mass spectrometry (LC-MS, GC-MS) and gas chromatography (GC) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with analytical instrumentation and consumables is a plus.
- Experience supporting pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical laboratory workflows and applications is preferred.
Additional Details
This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least May 25, 2026 or until the job is no longer posted. It is sales incentive eligible. In the US, this position is eligible for choice of company car or reimbursement for personal vehicle usage.The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $110,250.00 - $183,750.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
