About The Team
You’ll be joining the JD.com team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and acquire new Chinese sellers, guiding them through the full onboarding process and shop setup
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with both large brands and small, innovative sellers, ensuring their success on the platform
- Support sellers in leveraging platform tools, services, and programs to grow their business and expand across categories
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and internal performance data to identify opportunities for seller growth and optimization
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, Category, and Marketing teams to deliver practical, seller-focused solutions
- Track and achieve KPIs for seller acquisition, activation, and account growth
- Collect and share seller feedback with internal teams to inform platform enhancements and service improvements
- Approximately 3 years of experience in cross-border e-commerce seller acquisition, merchant operations, or related fields; candidates with proven experience building seller ecosystems from scratch (0→1) or successfully launching new sellers are preferred.
- Fluent in English, with the ability to use it as a working language for both written and daily communication.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of establishing long-term, trusted relationships with Chinese sellers and driving mutually beneficial business outcomes.
- Familiarity with Chinese cross-border e-commerce regulations, taxation, and logistics systems; candidates with an international perspective are a plus.
- Basic data analysis skills, with the ability to identify problems through data and implement actionable improvement plans.
- Results-oriented with a strong sense of ownership; able to proactively drive business goals in a fast-paced environment and experience in process optimization and standardization.
