About the role

Our CodeBlue team in Wellington is on the lookout for a driven and results-oriented sales professional to join their growing sales team. The Account Manager isn’t just about maintaining accounts—it’s about building constructive, focused relationships and truly partnering with clients. In this role you’ll have the autonomy to develop and execute key account strategies, identify new business opportunities, and negotiate service level agreements with the support of our wider technical teams to tailor technology and services solutions to meet our customer’s needs.

Skills & experience

We are looking for an individual with superb communication and interpersonal skills, developing productive networks and trusted relationships will be second nature, and you will delight in the idea of being the master of your own destiny and the opportunity to drive an outcome.

  • Prior experience within a similar sales role focused on selling complex solutions 
  • Experience in IT managed services and/or a technology background will be advantage and highly regarded
  • Proven success in outbound prospecting and self-generation of leads and a qualified pipeline
  • An analytical, commercial mindset with proven negotiation, planning, forecasting and pipeline management skills
  • A positive attitude, resilient and tenacious approach and the ambition to succeed
  • A high level of professionalism and attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Skills Required

  • Prior experience selling complex solutions
