The Account Manager – After Market is responsible for managing relationships and overseeing key customer accounts within an assigned geographic region and/or industry segment. These key customers include End Users, Educational Organizations and Resellers, as well as Machine Tool Dealer accounts. In this role, the selected candidate will promote FANUC products and services—as well as Machine Tool Dealer and Educational programs—to drive revenue, increase sales, and enhance overall profitability. Responsibilities include providing technical support, identifying new business opportunities, delivering corporate and technical presentations, and recommending improvements that enhance FANUC America Corporation’s (FAC) internal performance and operational efficiencies within an assigned region, which includes Oregon, Washington, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, as well as British Columbia and Alberta.
The ideal candidate will be located between Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington.
Primary resp
onsibilities will include: 

  • Interact with key decision makers at strategic end-users, machine tool dealers, and educational institutions through on-site visitations, e-mail, and phone communications.
  • Provide Corporate and Technical presentations and Product Overviews to assigned customers to enhance knowledge and skills for FANUC CNC Products & Services.
  • Solve customer issues by analyzing situations and recommending appropriate actions necessary to provide a final solution, Acting as an advanced level of customer support – technical, commercial, & administrative.
  • Coordinate quotations and close sales for options, maintenance parts, service contracts and other FANUC products in the Aftermarket portfolio.
  • Provide on-the-job training and formal instruction for customers as
  • Draft and negotiate strategic support contracts and agreements with customers, in conjunction with Business Development.
  • Ability to travel by air, both domestically and internationally, as required by business needs (up to 60% travel).

Ideal candidate will have the following experience and education:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Degree in a technical or related field including Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering, or an equivalent combination of technical training and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on technical experience in a related industry, including work in manufacturing operations, field service support, applications engineering, or technical sales roles.
  • Strong understanding of parts used in industrial robotic and CNC systems, including controllers, drive units, motors, sensors, and related mechanical assemblies.
  • Strong understanding of FANUC control systems, including their operation and configuration.
  • Knowledge of FANUC policies, processes, and procedures
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively communicate, resolve problems, and maintain strong working relationships with both internal and external customers.
  • Exceptional technology skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Windows, the Microsoft Office Suite, and internet-based applications.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to drive throughout the organization’s service area for business as required.
  • Must have or be able to obtain a valid passport.

FANUC American is seeking a qualified applicant for a Account Manager role. The pay range for this position is $93,018 – $151,424 per year. The pay range listed is based on both salary and other compensation, including bonuses and profit sharing, that an employee may be paid during their employment with FANUC America. A compensation package offered to a successful applicant will ultimately be determined by consideration of a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, an applicant’s geographic location, educational attainment, and level of experience.
