Position: Account Leader
Reports to: Growth Leader
General Description:
The Account Leader is responsible for managing and maintaining commercial and service relationships with assigned clients. This role actively supports the resolution of technical and administrative issues, drives project development, and fosters the growth and/or implementation of new applications for clients.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the sales team in managing the company’s service program with assigned clients.
- Conduct on-site surveys, product audits, and system evaluations.
- Ensure the implementation of value certification on-site, except for business reviews.
- Participate in design reviews, new applications, system startups, and performance evaluations. Provide support on critical products and services, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal company resources as needed, working effectively as part of a team.
- Coordinate and manage the replacement program for materials and consumables related to assigned clients' services and treatments.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining technical issues and solutions to initiate necessary corrective actions, including product modifications or process change recommendations. Document the value provided to clients, identify opportunities, and generate ideas to enhance account development.
- Perform chemical analyses at all designated points as determined by the Growth Leader for assigned accounts.
- Support the development of troubleshooting guides and technical bulletins for existing services and products. Take the lead in distributing these resources to relevant departments when required.
- Work with regional personnel to continuously improve policies and procedures to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Provide installation services for projects as required to meet client needs, including field surveys, installation checklists, and rollout support services.
- Adhere to ChemTreat and client safety protocols, completing all required safety training. Be familiar with all safety measures related to assigned treatment and services, including Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and Product Data Sheets (PDS) as determined by the Growth Leader.
- Support and commit to ChemTreat’s Quality Improvement Process. Plan strategies to ensure error-free work, follow a "do it right the first time" approach, and promote this mindset in daily responsibilities. Participate in Quality Improvement Teams and Corrective Actions while tracking key process metrics.
- Perform any other related duties that align with the primary responsibilities of this position, as required.
- Understand company policies regarding tools, vehicle use, expenses, safety, inclusion, and compliance.
- Comply with corporate Travel & Expense (T&E) policies.
- Assist the Growth Leader with collection processes.
- Coordinate chemical product dispatches with the Growth Leader.
- Submit expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Review margins and financial scope of assigned accounts with the Growth Leader.
- Participate in negotiation meetings and support the development of new accounts alongside the Growth Leader when invited.

- Experience in negotiation skills is desirable.
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or related field (preferred), technical degree, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in water treatment, including reverse osmosis, boilers, cooling towers, material handling, inventory control, manufacturing, and process installation.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (preferred).
