This is a hybrid role in Denver where you will be expected to be based in the office 3 days a week.

The opportunity

This is a full-cycle, outbound Account Executive role, and it's a genuine hunting seat. You'll own a greenfield territory and build it from the ground up - sourcing your own pipeline, running your own deals end to end, and closing net-new business.

This is a role for someone who likes to hunt. The majority of your pipeline will be self-sourced through your own outbound, and you'll own each deal from first touch through discovery, demo, and close. If prospecting energises you rather than drains you, you'll do well here.

What makes that hunt very different from dialling alone on an island:

  • You're selling a story buyers want to hear. Teamwork.com is building the AI PSA for professional-services firms. You're not pitching another project-management tool - you're showing services businesses how to win more work and protect margin. That's a conversation leaders actually want to have, which means warmer openings and more meetings.
  • Real GTM support behind you. Marketing runs account-based campaigns into named targets, intent and in-product usage signals help you prioritise who's actually in-market, and field events and agency programmes generate live conversations in your patch. This support amplifies your outbound - it doesn't replace it.
  • Segment-specific demo environments so you walk into a demo with a tailored story, not a blank slate.
  • A modern stack - HubSpot, Gong call intelligence, Pendo, and intent tooling — so you're equipped, coached, and measured, not flying blind.
  • A greenfield territory and whole segments to own. A lean team here means you take entire verticals and a wide territory as your own - the kind of whitespace that disappears once a team scales.

Responsibilities

  • Self-source and qualify new-business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, events, and other channels.
  • Research prospective clients to understand their needs and pain points before you reach out.
  • Run full-cycle deals end to end: discovery, tailored product demos, and close.
  • Articulate Teamwork.com's value and show how it solves real client challenges.
  • Partner with the marketing and partnership teams to align your outbound with account-based programmes.
  • Keep accurate records of your activity and pipeline in the CRM.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly new-business targets and KPIs.
  • Feed customer and market insight back to product and marketing.
What good looks like
  • Proven experience in outbound SaaS or B2B sales, where you personally sourced a meaningful share of your own pipeline.
  • Experience selling mid-market deals with genuine complexity - multi-stakeholder buying decisions, a real discovery and value-selling motion, and deal cycles in the region of 3–4 months. (Typical new-business deal size here is around $40K - this isn't a high-volume transactional seat, and it isn't an enterprise one either.)
  • You run your own demos and can translate product capability into a business case for a commercial buyer.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication - you can open a cold conversation and build rapport fast.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a track record to back it up.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, comfortable owning a number and building a territory.
  • A positive, curious, adaptable attitude - you like figuring things out.

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule, this role has:

  • Base salary: $80,000 – $90,000 USD
  • Total On-target earnings (OTE): $160,000 – $190,000 USD

Skills Required

  • Proven experience in outbound sales in a SaaS or B2B industry
  • Mid-Market Sales experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
  • Self-motivated and target-driven
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales productivity tools
