We’re looking for an experienced Account Executive to drive strategic sales for Adestra, our enterprise-grade email marketing and automation platform. This UK-based role is focused on building relationships with large organisations across sectors, with a particular emphasis on Financial Services, where trust, compliance, and performance are paramount. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in MarTech, a consultative sales approach, and a proven ability to navigate enterprise buying cycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Generation: Use networks and tools to drive consistent self-sourced pipeline capable of supporting quota achievement
  • Solution Positioning: Deliver compelling presentations and demos that highlight Adestra’s capabilities in multi-channel marketing and customer engagement.
  • Sales Execution: Conduct deep discovery meetings, build ROI models, present business cases to senior decision-makers, and navigate complex buying processes.
  • Contracting & Negotiation: Navigate procurement processes, including MSAs, DPAs, and SLAs, to secure multi-year SaaS agreements.
  • Technical Collaboration: Partner with Sales Engineers and Product teams to deliver tailored demos, proof-of-concepts, and integration plans.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain CRM accuracy, provide reliable forecasts, and participate in structured deal reviews.
  • Customer Expansion: Collaborate with Customer Success to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in MarTech and email automation.

What You’ll Bring

  • 7+ years of SaaS sales experience, ideally within MarTech or marketing automation.
  • Proven success in value-based selling and familiarity with frameworks like MEDDICC or Challenger.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with confidence in engaging senior stakeholders (CIOs, CMOs, Heads of Digital).
  • Understanding of marketing automation, email compliance, and integrations (APIs, SSO, CRM, etc.).
  • A self-motivated, disciplined approach to pipeline management and sales execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and occasionally within Europe for key meetings and events.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Adestra or similar email marketing platforms.
  • Experience selling into Financial Services or other regulated industries is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of GDPR, data privacy, and compliance in digital marketing.
  • Familiarity with Financial Services marketing challenges and regulatory requirements.
  • Certifications in value-based selling methodologies or enterprise sales frameworks.
