ModMed is hiring a driven Account Executive to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing Sales team focused on presenting and selling to our existing client base and net-new labs. This role works as a key member of the sales team managing the full sales process of Modernizing Medicine’s laboratory and interface offering, such as PACs and in-house pathology solutions. Responsibilities include outbound calling, emailing, assessing prospect needs, identifying "business pains", determining decision makers, while working with existing Modernizing Medicine client accounts.

Your Role:

  • Proactively cultivate relationships with existing customers, identifying, qualifying, and nurturing quality sales opportunities.
  • Take charge of the sales strategy and process for your designated territory, demonstrating a keen understanding of business needs and positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
  • Leverage your business acumen to provide thoughtful recommendations for deploying additional Modernizing Medicine solutions, enhancing the overall health of our clients' practices.
  • Drive towards and surpass established sales quotas, showcasing a commitment to achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Ensure data integrity and accurate forecasting by meticulously entering and maintaining customer data, including interactions, in our Salesforce CRM software.
  • Collaborate across functions to manage the sales process from the initial phone call through contract signing, ensuring a premium experience for all stakeholders involved.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required.
  • 2+ years of progressive B2B full-cycle sales experience preferred, not required.
  • Experience performing virtual client presentations/product demonstrations.
  • SaaS (Software Sales) and/or Healthcare sales experience preferred; will consider clinical background in lieu of sales experience.
  • Knowledge of interface modalities, PACs, and Lab experience is a huge plus.
  • Previous experience using CRM systems is a plus, with preference given to SalesForce experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Tech savvy, natural interest in technology and how it can improve businesses processes and outcomes.
  • Intellectually curious with an ability to establish and maintain credibility and influence with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and innovative environment.
  • Passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences. 
  • Domestic travel up to 25% required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
