Purpose
The Account Executive is an individual contributor role within the regional sales structure, reporting directly to the Chapter Lead. This is a hunter-oriented position focused on generating new business opportunities with current leads, prospective clients, and strategic target accounts.
The main goal of the role is to identify, develop, and close new business with enterprise clients, while also supporting the client through key stages of the commercial journey. The Account Executive will work across the full sales cycle — from prospecting and discovery to presentation, negotiation, closing, and client onboarding — ensuring a high-quality handover and a strong start for each new customer.
This role requires a consultative, commercially strong professional who understands how to translate business needs into tailored solutions and can operate confidently in complex enterprise environments.
Main Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify new business opportunities within a defined target account list
- Own the full sales cycle, including: prospecting, discovery, solution presentation, demo delivery, proposal development, negotiation, closing;
- Develop solution proposals that address client business needs and support commercial goals
- Engage enterprise clients and build trusted relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
- Work closely with internal teams to align on customer needs, solution scope, and commercial strategy
- Support the onboarding phase after contract signature to ensure a smooth transition and strong client experience
- Maintain accurate and disciplined CRM updates, including pipeline progression, next steps, and account status
- Manage forecasting and account planning with a structured, organized approach
- Identify opportunities for upsell, cross-sell, and long-term account growth when relevant
- Represent Infobip in a professional, consultative, and solution-oriented way
- Stay informed on the use of prospecting methods and productivity tools, including AI-enabled resources, to improve effectiveness and commercial execution
What makes you a strong fit
- 4+ years of experience in hunter, Account Executive, or Business Development roles
- Proven experience in SaaS or technology sales environments
- Strong background in enterprise sales and complex B2B commercial cycles
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales process from prospecting through closing
- Experience conducting discovery conversations and translating business needs into commercial solutions
- Comfortable presenting, negotiating, and influencing multiple stakeholders
- Strong commercial mindset with a consultative approach to selling
- Highly organized with strong CRM discipline and pipeline management skills
- Able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and operate in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Advanced English, spoken and written
