The Account Executive is accountable for developing and implementing comprehensive account plans that delight clients and ensure healthy long-term partnerships. This strategic leader must anticipate client needs, deliver exceptional results that outperform key performance indicators, and build high-performing teams that achieve operational excellence while driving sustainable revenue growth and profitability.
Primary Responsibilities
Exceeding Client Expectations Through Strategic Partnership
Executes the vision and strategy of the account plan, ensuring client objectives and interests are consistently met and exceeded
Acts as a Strategic Partner by connecting teams across regions and services, driving the fundamental mindset and bringing strategic direction to complex client relationships
Demonstrates Proactive Leadership by anticipating where clients are heading and positioning teams for success, connecting dots across organizational silos
Develops, manages and implements Voice of the Customer (VOC) programs to regularly gain input and direction from clients ensuring strategic alignment
Responds to client issues with expedient, professional solutions that strengthen long-term partnerships
Building and Managing High Performing Teams with Accountability
Maintains Strategic Accountability by staying close enough to major work initiatives without micromanaging day-to-day operations
Ensures the best qualified candidates are hired for all roles on the account
Builds actionable and measurable career development plans for all direct reports
Drives Best Practices on account while bringing in external speakers and off-account experts to enhance team capabilities
Updates Metro Plans opportunistically rather than limiting updates to the contractual two per year requirement
Embodies the firm's values and core behaviors of collaboration, integrity and excellence
Advances diversity and inclusion priorities through strategic talent moves including hiring, rotation and promotion
Identifies and grooms successors to key roles
Achieving Financial Results Through Strategic Growth
Presents annual account plans including key objectives, client satisfaction results, value-add activity summaries, and targeted expansion strategies
Proactively manages account budgets while identifying opportunities to generate additional revenue
Retains all current business lines and expands the book of business beyond existing product lines or geography
Mitigates organizational risk by maintaining A/R below 60 days payable

10+ years of Facility Management and Commercial Real Estate executive leadership experience
Proven capabilities developing outsourced Integrated Facility Management solutions for Fortune 500 companies
Extensive experience hiring, training, and retaining large teams (100+) in client service environments
Demonstrated budget management experience with strategic financial oversight
Bachelor's degree with broad business experience; MBA or post-graduate studies preferred
Experience operating effectively in complex, large, heavily matrixed organizations

Estimated compensation for this position:
250,000.00 – 275,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
