We are an established real estate law firm with offices across California. Our San Diego office is looking for an Account Executive to join our fast-paced team. In this role, you will negotiate settlements in collection cases. You will develop strong legal knowledge while building valuable negotiation and client relations skills in a supportive, growth-focused environment.

Compensation & Benefits:
$24–$26/hour + monthly commission
Responsibilities
- Negotiate settlements with debtors and opposing counsel in collection cases
- Conduct skip tracing investigations (locating debtors and verifying financial information)
- Read, interpret, and apply lease language and relevant collection laws
- Learn rules of law applicable to the collection process
- Communicate professionally with clients and debtors via phone, email, and written correspondence
- Document cases and maintain organized records
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated diplomatic and savvy negotiation skills
- Strong customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a high-volume environment
- Skill and temperament to remain professional and diffuse conflict
- Willingness to learn legal concepts and collection procedures
- Proficiency with standard software (email, word processing, case management systems)
The following qualifications are preferred:
- Previous experience in sales, debt collections, customer service, or legal settings
- Familiarity with skiptracing or investigative work
- Knowledge of California collection laws or real estate principles
- Experience using legal case management software
Schedule & Work Environment
Full-time position: 40 hours/week
Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday
We offer a hybrid/in-office work model. New hires will complete the majority of their onboarding and training in-office during their first 6 months of employment to ensure success in the role. Following this period, eligible employees may transition to a hybrid schedule, subject to supervisor approval.
