We are seeking a driven Account Executive – Workplace Technology with a passion for winning new business and growing customer relationships across small to medium enterprise customers, leveraging Ricoh Australia’s Workplace Technology portfolio.
At Ricoh, you’ll work with market‑leading workplace solutions, collaborate with high‑performing sales and delivery teams, and build your career within an organisation focused on innovation, customer outcomes, and sustainable growth.
This role is aligned to a defined commercial customer patch and is heavily focused on new business development, while also driving expansion within selected existing accounts.
As an Account Executive – Workplace Technology, your primary focus is to drive revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new customer opportunities across Ricoh’s full suite of workplace solutions — including Managed Print Services, digital workflow solutions, and workplace technology offerings. You will position Ricoh as a trusted partner for organisations looking to optimise how they work, collaborate, and manage technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities across a defined commercial territory, with a strong focus on SME customers
- Build and maintain a strong, qualified sales pipeline, generating a significant portion through self‑sourced prospecting
- Drive new revenue growth with non‑Ricoh customers and expand share of wallet within Ricoh’s existing customer base
- Sell and position Managed Print Services and broader workplace technology solutions to meet customer needs
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and commercial solutions tailored to customer requirements
- Execute disciplined territory and account planning to maximise pipeline coverage and conversion
- Work closely with internal pre‑sales and service delivery teams to ensure strong customer outcomes
- Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets
To be successful in this role:
You are a motivated, results‑driven Account Executive who thrives in a proactive, focused sales environment. You bring:
- 3+ years’ experience in a commercial B2B, quota‑carrying sales role
- Demonstrated experience selling to small to medium enterprise customers
- Managed Print Services experience or exposure to contractual, services‑based or managed solutions
- A proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong capability in prospecting and building your own sales pipeline
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- The ability to engage confidently with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
